West Middle School - SCCSD

Dear West Middle School Families,

We are excited to inform you that students will be participating in the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) starting Tuesday, April 23 through Friday, May 1. These assessments are an essential part of measuring student growth and academic achievement, and we appreciate your support in helping your child prepare for success.

Hello Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) begins this week!
How Families Can Support Students During Testing:
Ensure a Good Night’s Sleep: A well-rested mind is ready to focus! Encourage your child to go to bed early each night.

Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Fueling up with a nutritious breakfast helps with concentration and stamina during testing.

Arrive On Time: Testing sessions will be at 8:50 each day. Please make sure your child arrives at school on time.

Encourage a Positive Mindset: Remind your child to do their best and approach the test with confidence. A positive attitude can make a big difference!

Limit Distractions: Minimizing screen time and encouraging relaxation in the evenings can help keep students focused and refreshed.

We appreciate your partnership in ensuring a smooth testing experience for all students at West Middle School. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school office.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely, West Middle School Administration
